Back in May, I took the infamous train ride from Riobamba to "Naris del Diablo" or the Devil's Nose. It was an adventure from beginning to end for sure, with my close friend Elizabeth by my side. You sit on top of the train as it takes you down and around a mountain or two. Along the way we saw absolutely amazing views of Ecuador.Isaiah 40:12:
12 Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand,
or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens?
Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket,
or weighed the mountains on the scales
and the hills in a balance?
Children ran along side the train waving and we were able to throw out some candy we had brought along. That was the highlight of the trip for me.
