What a lovely weekend I had, NSMS was closed on Monday due to "Guayaquil Independence Day" so I went to the town of Banos to go swimming with David and his parents. We had a very enjoyable time and ate an excellent restaurant called Miramelindo. The bread reminded me of Panara Bread...YUM! It was nice to take a day to just relax and enjoy time with the Waskoksy's. I did however take a test earlier that morning!
Today, I substituted for David's class as the teacher, Eileen was sick. It's always a fun experience for me to take on all that responsibility. It reminds me of why I'm going to school and working so hard...so that I can be the teacher someday of a classroom of my own. It can be hard sometimes to keep the long term in mind and to keep pursuing earlier goals but today was a good chance to remind myself of why I need to keep working hard!
