On Friday Henry Cabrera told me his family was going to Bolivia for a cross-cultural training session and that they were leaving on Tuesday! So that meant that I possibly had to find a new place to live in case I was no longer permitted to stay in the house. With that and several phone calls and conversations...I found out that I had to leave the Saturday after the Cabrera's left. Either I looked so homeless and pathetic or I'm just a very likable person...because the Wolfram family (missionaries with three children...high school aged and younger) invited me to live with them for the remaining month before I can move back into the apartment under the Waskosky's. So, to this family I am very grateful that they are willing to provide me a home! These are pictures of my new space...which happens to be the laundry room/craft supplies! One postive note about this fact is that it always smells nice and clean in here and I won't have to go far to get laundry done. I am still readjusting to the new house, and living with a family. It is quite a difference to be in a house with small children and a house with teenage boys! My only concern is that I will be here over April's Fools Day and would not be surprised if I get fooled in one way or another. But with all that said, I truly am thankful for the Wolfram's hospitality and willingness to make me feel like one of the family. God has many names and characteristics and lately I've really been seeing God, the Provider, work in my life.
Learning in the journey about God's faithfulness and love in Ecuador and working with Young Life to see the lives of teenagers transformed.
