What do you do when you reach the high point of your hike...?

Saturday, us young single gals, took a day trip to the town of Banos. We went on a lovely little hike to reach a point called "Bellavista". It took maybe 45 minutes. Most people when they reach the top destination point, take some pictures, enjoy the view, perhaps even take a little rest before heading back down.

But, we are not "most people".
Oh no, we are certainly the cream of the crop, the creative thinkers, the imaginative and yes... the more exciting people!

Someone had the idea that we should stand on our heads for a photo. This of course made perfect sense to me. Why of course, do a handstand, that was the point of this whole trek up! So we made our way over to a grassy area and practiced...and for some of us the practice paid off...

and for some of us others it did not!

My roommate, Susannah and Eileen win the awards for most entertaining handstand people! All in all it was a wonderful day, just away from Shell and hanging out. Enjoying the beautiful weather and creating memoriest that give us very funny pictures and remembrances!

Perhaps in the future I will draw some spiritual insight from the day, but right now I'm quite content just to smile from all the fun!
