Raquel Ama A Jesus

I had the chance to attend the Jesus Adrian Romero concert in Ambato. He is a Spanish Christian artist (from Peru, I believe). It was a short concert and I admit that I enjoyed the bus ride back and forth more than the actual concert time. The Nazarene church had rented a bus to take the group of us there. It reminded me of piling into a van to go to youth conferences with the Cornerstone youth group.
Earlier in the week, I helped paint a banner for us to hold in the crowd (this would be the picture displayed). Painting the banner briefly transported me back in time to stage crew at PHS. It was a great time growing closer to several of the girls in the church while we worked. The young people at the church have become close confidants of mine and I praise God for surrounding me with such encouraging, godly people.
"Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor.
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.
But woe to him who is alone when he falls
For he has no one to help him up."
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
"Well a friend's a friend forever, if the Lord's a Lord of him..."
This is a thought that I hold close to as I envision the day I leave and must say goodbye to those that have become very dear to me.
