El Cordero de Dios

I had the awesome opportunity to be a part of an Easter program put on by the spanish congregation at my church (El Pacto de Gracia or Grace Covenant Church). They put together a drama called Lamb of God (El Cordero de Dios) with song, dance, and of course acting. It was a powerful drama of Jesus' crucifixation and resurrection. Each night the pastor of the church came and gave an opportunity for people to respond to the drama and we saw lives changed and hearts recommitted to the Lord. Praise God! I enjoyed so much getting to know new people and being in unity with the spanish congregation in their outreach to the spanish community.

Usually, in theater type productions I am always doing someing behind the scenes or backstage so it was exciting and new for me to actually be part of the acting section. I was one of the marketplace women and dancers. What I loved most about doing El Cordero de Dios was the emphasis that everything we did was for the glory of God. Each character and part of the drama was carried out so that God could be glorified and lifted up. We are simply empty vessels to be used by Him.
