My brother once found a song that stated "the Easter bunny is dead!" and how I wish that were true. I wish all the hype and commercialism that has taken over the real reason for celebration would die. I wish that I would be sickened by the massive amounts of chocolate and sweets distributed (not because of the calorie count) but because I put more thought into which sweet to eat first than how my Savior died and rose again so that I might believe and accept His gift of eternal life! As I came across the above lyrics, I was just so struck by it. Only by grace. When will I really understand that it is only by grace? Only by grace. Thanks to Your grace we are cleansed by the blood of the lamb.
